Install the tail wheel assembly into the back of the
fuselage using four 3mm x 15mm socket-cap screws and
four 3mm flat washers. Tighten the screws firmly using a
1.5mm hex wrench.
Blind nuts have been preinstalled in the back side of the
bulkhead to accept the screws.
Slide one 3mm nylon spacer onto the tail wheel wire, followed by the 40mm diameter tail wheel. Use one 3mm wheel
collar and one 3mm x 5mm machine screw to hold the wheel in place.
Double-check that the tail wheel spins freely. It should not bind.

(2) Prebent Main Gear Wires
(2) 60mm Diameter Wheels
(2) Precovered Landing Gear Covers
(2) Precovered Landing Gear Blocks (W69)
(4) Nylon Landing Gear Straps (Flat)
(4) Nylon Gear Cover Straps (U-Shaped)
(8) 3mm x 12mm Wood Screws
SECTION 14: OPTIONAL FIXED MAIN LANDING GEAR INSTALLATION
YOU'LL NEED THE FOLLOWING SUPPLIES:
Pencil
Masking Tape
Paper Towels
Rubbing Alcohol
NHP Epoxy Mixing Sticks
NHP Epoxy Mixing Cups
(8) 3mm x 10mm Machine Screws
(2) 3mm x 5mm Machine Screws
(8) 3mm Flat Washers
(8) 3mm Hex Nuts
(2) 4mm Nylon Spacers
(2) 4mm Wheel Collars
Step 1: Installing the Landing Gear Blocks
Using a modeling knife, cut away and remove the covering material from over the precut slot in each of the two
landing gear blocks.
